Social Media = Relationships With Others Socially
Our evolution leads us all to being connected to others in so many ways. You have so many choices on how and who you connect with. If someone is a P.I.T.A. in social environment you have the choice to unfriend, remove, block or just not pay them any attention.
The same would apply for your business as well. If you are not addressing your social capital, then you are missing out on opportunities connections, fan recruitment and sales. It has been my mission to help individuals and businesses find their messages and marketing being carried by followers and fans to their friends and connected networks.
For those that actually get the connection that the relationship is giving and teaching and gaining the permission to sell, they are boldly successful. While others who choose the route of using a sales covered hammer to pound potential clients and customers into giving them their hard earned cash learn a very costly lesson of the increasingly obvious fact that people do not want to be sold. You would think that would be common knowledge in many circles, I will tell you that it is not. Just look at some of the websites where as soon as you hit the page, you are pummeled with an offer. I often wonder, what is the success rate of those sites?
Below are some examples of recent articles that I have found discussing the point of the relationships even further and really make it clear that there is a change taking place around us all.
