Websters defines the word “selfishness” as follows: One concerned excessively or exclusively with oneself : seeking or concentrating on one’s own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others. The ability for people to be this way and not realize it confuses me.

Why is it that someone can act in such a way and total denial, have no idea or recognition of their actions? Or is even that a facade?

The thought that a person has lived one way for so long that they believe that change is out of their reach is crazytalk! Its as simple as accepting where you are right now in the moment and just deciding that you will no longer make the choice that kept you were you were. You can choose to live a live of true expectancy filled with possibility. Stop and think about it for a moment and imagine all the things you would have, do, see, experience, and live through if you had an unlimited life. Write those things down or capture them in your PDA, IPhone, Droid, Tape recorder, tatoos or any other chosen method of idea capture that you like to use on a regular basis.

When you look at that list does it bring even the smallest of smiles to your face or a HUGE grin?

To live like that you could almost feel like to give, contribute, share, and just be apart would be an honor. There would be no limits to what you could do, who you could help, or whose life you could turn around. Yea, I know the though of pay-it-forward for some is a foreign language. But it is one that more of us need to not only  learn but master to find the joy of really making the smallest difference in a fellow human beings‘ life.

What will your choice be TODAY?
