Hyper Connecting To Social Media Is Becoming Easier
In a really nice blog post by Nikki Peters she discusses the fact that we are opening more of our lives up to Social Media everyday. From our personal information to what we eat and buy can all be shared with a few clicks. The point that stood out for me was the fact that she mentioned that it could be easily avoided by simply checking the settings on the sites that you deal with to avoid over-sharing of information and possibly causing other problems. This is something we all should consider as we connect to different Social Media venues.

Thank you for mentioning my blog. I think it’s important to realise that just because we use something so often and think we know it well enough to trust them to look after our details and data, that’s not always the case. It’s a very public world, it’s good to keep checking what changes institutions make to always ensure your personal information is kept safe.
Thanks for sharing Nikki’s article, it’s interesting that the world that is now social is one that we are all immersed in. It becomes a stream of consciousness that we are still getting used to (if not too used to). The good thing is that if Facebook/Twitter implode and no more, we’ll always have our blogs!
Have a good weekend
